Some Info about Wild Game

In Northern Ontario, we love our wild game! Some meat contains high amounts of saturated fat, so keep an eye on your intake.

Here are popular meats in order of fattiness (high to low): deer, buffalo, caribou, and lastly moose. Serve fattier meats on a hot plate to keep the fat from congealing so you ingest less of it.

Also, fish contains a high amount of calcium so if you need more calcium in your diet, eat fish!
